Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Varynt Desk. They are written to match how the product actually works: there is no self-serve signup, no card on file, and your team members are people you invite.
Effective 1 September 2026. We will tell you by email before a material change takes effect; see the last section of this page.
01Who we are and who you are
Varynt Desk is provided by Varynt, India ("we"). "You" are the organisation whose workspace an operator of ours created at your request, and the people you invite into it.
There is no self-serve signup. A workspace exists because you asked us for one, agreed a plan, and named an owner. That owner accepts these terms for the organisation on first sign-in.
02What the service is
A reception desk product: guided call intake, bookings against your resources, follow-ups, messaging, reports and an administration console, configured through a Blueprint you control.
We provide the software; you provide the desk. What is said on a call, what is booked, and what messages are sent to your customers are your decisions and your responsibility.
03Accounts and roles
Your owner invites members and assigns roles. You are responsible for what members do under those roles, for removing people who leave, and for the accuracy of what your desk records.
Seats are counted per active or invited member with a role of agent or above. Viewers are not charged.
04Your customers' data
The people who call your desk are your customers, not ours. You are the controller of their data; we process it to run your desk and for nothing else. You are responsible for having the right to record it and for honouring do-not-contact requests, which the product supports.
Messages sent from Desk — confirmations, reminders — are sent on your behalf, under your name, to numbers and addresses you recorded.
05Your Blueprint
The Blueprint configuration you author is yours. You may export it at any time. The starter Blueprints we ship remain ours; you are licensed to use and modify them within the service.
06Fees
Plans are priced as published or as agreed in writing, in Indian rupees, invoiced monthly or annually. No card is charged by the product. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension after notice; suspension does not delete your data.
Enquiry allowances are soft: we warn at 80% and pause new intake at 110% until the allowance is raised.
07Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability and tell you in advance about planned maintenance. Support is by email and, on Business and Enterprise plans, by phone during Indian business hours.
08Ending the agreement
Either side may end on 30 days' notice. Before the end, an owner or admin may export the whole workspace from Settings. Thirty days after the end we delete the workspace; backups age out within a further 30 days.
09Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for a booking missed because a message was not read, a slot double-booked by a policy you set, or data entered incorrectly at the desk.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.
11Changes to these terms
We will email your owner at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date accepts the change.
