AI assistants

Ask your deska question.

Varynt Desk speaks the Model Context Protocol, the open standard assistants such as Claude use to reach real tools. An assistant can read the enquiry book, the diary and the follow-up queue, and act on them, as the person who connected it and never beyond what that person could do.

What it can do

Today's numbers, in a sentence.

  • “How many enquiries came in today, and how many booked?”

Today's numbers and the funnel, the way the dashboard shows them.

  • “Who is overdue for a callback at Bandra?”

The follow-up queue and the enquiry board, filtered as you ask.

  • “Is Dr Mehta free on Thursday morning?”

The diary and its free slots, by resource and branch.

Example questions. What an assistant answers depends on the assistant, and on what the person who connected it may see.

Control

Never more than the person who connected it.

  • Read only, full or custom

Whoever connects chooses: read only answers questions and changes nothing; full can do what they could; custom picks the parts of the desk it may touch, and refuses the rest outright.

  • Listed, and one click to end

Every connection is on that person's own profile with what it was granted and a button that ends it. Nothing it already did is undone by disconnecting.

  • Personal API tokens

For your own systems or the local server: a token per person, shown once, revocable at any time.

  • Your network rules still apply

With an IP allow-list set, Desk refuses any request whose network it cannot confirm, assistants included.

Everything on this page is your own assistant reaching your desk. Desk has no AI features of its own yet: AI call summaries are in development, on no plan, and will be priced separately from the subscription plans when they ship.
